										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Oficina de criação coletiva com o centro comunitário Grendehuset na Noruega, no bairro Sletteløkka em Oslo. Junto com Gabriela Forjaz, desenvolvemos o mural da fachada do prédio em conjunto com 35 crianças e adolescentes, em sua maior parte moradores do bairro periférico e vindos de regiões distintas do mundo como paquistão, afeganistão, iraque, somália, chile, gana entre outros. Mediamos um processo que partia de fotografias do entorno, do olhar das crianças para aquele bairro e com essas imagens desenvolvemos símbolos e signos que traduziam o que eles queriam dizer para a comunidade sobre Sletelloka. Fomos para lá a convite de Alexander Furunes, como parte das ativações do centro comunitário Grendehuset. agradecimentos Maria Batteria, Lars and Mattias Josefsson.</p>
<p><em>A collective creation workshop with the Grendehuset community center in Norway, located in the Sletteløkka neighborhood in Oslo. Together with Gabriela Forjaz, we developed the mural on the building&#8217;s facade in collaboration with 35 children and adolescents, mostly residents of the peripheral neighborhood, coming from diverse regions of the world such as Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Chile, Ghana, among others. We facilitated a process that began with photographs of the surroundings, capturing the children&#8217;s perspective of the neighborhood, and using these images, we developed symbols and signs that conveyed what they wanted to express to the community about Sletteløkka. We were invited by Alexander Furunes as part of the Grendehuset community center&#8217;s activities. Special thanks to Maria Batteria, Lars, and Mattias Josefsson.</em></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Oficina de estamparia a partir da provocação do coletivo JACA (Centro de Arte e Tecnologia do Jardim Canadá) em Belo Horizonte. Vários níveis de experimentação foram desenvolvidos e narrativas criadas por meio de recortes e colagens na reutilização de peças existentes do acervo do coletivo. Ao final do curso cada estudante produziu uma bandeira que se transformou em uma bolsa, que gerou uma grande peça que durante 30 dias ficou na janela do espaço no centro de BH. Depois de um mês cada aluno pegou sua bolsa e levou para casa 🙂</p>

<p>O design gráfico do livro <em>Arquitecturas Contemporáneas en Paraguay</em> foi realizado pelos próprios organizadores da obra, o coletivo Goma Oficina, o que proporcionou uma maior integração entre o conceito de design e a pesquisa crítica apresentada.<br />
As obras paraguaias selecionadas no livro se destacam por experimentar com materiais comuns, resultando em intervenções extremamente contemporâneas, heterogêneas e propositivas.<br />
Tornamos aparentes os elementos construtivos do livro (papel, dobras e costura), revelando sua estrutura ao máximo e remetendo à sensação tátil que a própria arquitetura paraguaia provoca. Os materiais escolhidos foram os mais comuns e disponíveis no mercado, utilizados sem acabamento e grandes refinamentos.<br />
A escolha do uso de uma quinta cor especial, o laranja neon, aparece como representação do barro – um elemento importante do repertório construtivo Guarani. Por outro lado, o papel gráfico foi diagramado em seu tamanho original (96 x 66 cm) para explorar a incidência das dobras na composição gráfica das imagens e dos títulos dos capítulos. As tipografias utilizadas (com ou sem serifa) revelam o contraste entre o novo e o antigo, servindo como suporte para o conteúdo bilíngue.</p>

<p><em>The graphic design of the book </em>Arquitecturas Contemporáneas en Paraguay<em> was carried out by the own book’s organizers, the collective Goma Oficina, which made a greater integration between the design concept and the critical research presented.</em><br />
<em>The Paraguayan works selected in the book stands out for experimenting with ordinary materials, resulting in extremely contemporary, heterogeneous and purposeful interventions.<br />
</em><em>We made the constructive elements of the book (paper, fold and sewing) apparent, revealing its structure as much as possible, and referring to the tactile sensation that the own Paraguayan architecture provokes. The materials chosen were the most common and available on the market, used without finishing and major refinements.<br />
</em><em>The choice of using a fifth special color, neon orange, appears as the representation of clay – an important element of the Guarani constructive repertoire. On the other hand, the graphic paper was diagrammed in its original size, (96 x 66 cm) in order to explore the incidence of folds in the graphic composition of the images and chapter titles. The typographies used (with or without serif) reveal the contrast between new and old, and are supports for the bilingual content.</em></p>

<p dir="ltr">FRONTEIRA LIVRE foi uma intervenção para a 11ª Bienal de Arquitetura de São Paulo. Consistiu em bandeiras/fronteiras inseridas na comunicação visual do Metrô de São Paulo e CPTM no período de outubro a dezembro de 2017. As bandeiras estão nas principais estações da linha vermelha: Barra-Funda, República, Sé, Brás, Tatuapé e Itaquera. Esta é a linha mais movimentada, de um sistema que transporta 4,7 milhões de passageiros por dia.</p>
<p dir="ltr">O projeto foi desenvolvido através de uma estreita colaboração entre CAMI Centro de Apoio e Pastoral do Imigrante, Goma Oficina Plataforma Colaborativa e Eriksson Furunes. Em parceria com Lucy Bullivant, Metro de São Paulo, CPTM e DAFAM Diretório Acadêmico da FAU-Mackenzie.</p>
<p>Através de uma história, cada um compartilhou sua experiência pessoal com fronteiras. A partir dessa troca, foi contruido pelo grupo narrativas coletivas, através de seis principais mensagens. As mensagens estão sendo comunicadas através de frases e padrões geométricos. As bandeiras abordam um tópico relevante de hoje: a imigração. Tendo atravessado uma fronteira nacional, os imigrantes enfrentam uma série de fronteiras invisíveis, sejam elas culturais, sociais ou econômicas.</p>
<p>O processo foi possível graças ao apoio financeiro do Ministério Norueguês dos Negócios Estrangeiros / Design e Arquitetura Noruega (DOGA) e do Programa Norueguês de Pesquisa Artística.</p>

<p><strong><em>invisible borders (en)</em></strong></p>
<p dir="ltr"><em>Where in your life do you find a border, rather than a line that separates nations? What is our personal story of these borders and where do our own individual experience relate to our collective experience of borders? How can we collectively build a movement to address and move the borders of today?  These were questions discussed during this past weeks workshop at Cami, center for Migrant Support with 8 migrants to Sao Paulo, Brazil from Bolivia, Peru, Angola, Haiti and Congo.</em></p>

</em><em>“Fronteira Livre” is a collaborative intervention for the<a href="https://www.facebook.com/11bienaldearquitetura/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?hl=pt-BR&amp;q=https://www.facebook.com/11bienaldearquitetura/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1508326992100000&amp;usg=AFQjCNH0YDux8b4pfYhw0Od43NH1-_vWxw"> 11th Architecture Bienale of São Paulo</a> consisting of six banners for the São Paulo Metro and CPTM over the period of 16th October to 15th November 2017. The banners will be hung on the 6 mains stations of the red line on the São Paulo metro; Barra-Funda, República, Sé, Brás, Tatuapé and Itaquera. This is the<a href="http://sao-paulo.estadao.com.br/noticias/geral,portas-de-plataforma-serao-instaladas-em-mais-7-estacoes-do-metro-neste-ano,557635" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?hl=pt-BR&amp;q=http://sao-paulo.estadao.com.br/noticias/geral,portas-de-plataforma-serao-instaladas-em-mais-7-estacoes-do-metro-neste-ano,557635&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1508326992100000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHwU-yxzXXwJkRr5jKqVekk8ShIeQ"> busiest line</a>, of a metro system carrying<a href="http://www.metro.sp.gov.br/en/metro/about-us/index.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?hl=pt-BR&amp;q=http://www.metro.sp.gov.br/en/metro/about-us/index.aspx&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1508326992100000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHb5N2EA3EG8vYPqCVEE_x9mthW6Q"> 4.7 milion passengers</a> a day.</em></p>

</em><em>The process was carried out through collaboration with 8 members of CAMI Migrant Support Center. Through story telling each of the shared their personal experience of the borders they have been facing since arriving in Brazil. In this process identifying what are the collective stories they all share and what message they would like to communicate through the banners. Communicating this message through text and patterns each of the six banners. The banners address a relevant topic of today, migration. Having crossed a national border, migrants face a series of invisible borders, whether cultural, social or economic.</em></p>
